PORT MIDDLE SCHOOL

 

Port Middle School is an independent school that established in 1992 and is located in Hamilton Hill, WA, Australia. Port school is specialise working with young adults at extreme educational and social risk. This school compare to the main stream, has new approach and aims to re engage at risk students who are in year 8-12. These students were not able to attend or continue main stream school due to variety of reasons such as anxiety, disability and difficult background.

 

This school offer variety of teaching facilities such as small class sizes, hands on vocational learning, personalised and flexible learning groups, excursions, community projects, individualised pastoral care, social support from variety of network and external agencies. They also provide opportunity for student to finish school and enter workplace.

  • It happens in small group with option of one on one support

  • For students who are unable to come to school, staff do home visits and external educational options.
